چکیده

This paper investigates the dissipativity analysis of large-scale networked systems with linear time-invariant dynamics. The system is composed a large number subsystems whose connections are arbitrary, and each subsystem can have different A sufficient necessary condition for strict derived, which takes advantage block-diagonal structure parameter matrix sparseness characteristics interconnections. Then, that depend only on single given separately. Numerical simulations illustrate compared existing results, conditions suggested in this higher computational efficiency dissipative systems.

Stability certification of large scale stochastic systems using dissipativity

In this paper, we analyse the stability of large-scale nonlinear stochastic systems, represented as an interconnection of lowerorder stochastic subsystems. Stochastic stability in probability and noise-to-state stability are addressed, and sufficient conditions for the latter are provided. The method proposed proves network stability by using appropriate stochastic passivity properties of its s...

Towards the Analysis and Design of Large Scale Networked Systems

Large networks of human and machine systems have staggeringly complex properties. Many of these poorly understood and difficult to predict properties emerge from largescale interaction and may be positive or negative. Not only do we not understand how complex behavior arises from the interactions of the individual (human or machine) nodes of the network, but the properties of the nodes themselv...

Loose Synchronization for Large-Scale Networked Systems

Traditionally, synchronization barriers ensure that no cooperating process advances beyond a specified point until all processes have reached that point. In heterogeneous large-scale distributed computing environments, with unreliable network links and machines that may become overloaded and unresponsive, traditional barrier semantics are too strict to be effective for a range of emerging appli...

Large Scale Networked Dynamical Systems: Distributed Inference

The thesis develops methodology and algorithms to study distributed inference problemsin large scale networked systems. Typical examples that fall under the scope of this studyinclude distributed detection, distributed field reconstruction (estimation) arising in wirelesssensor network (WSN) applications, and filtering in networked dynamical (cyberphysical)systems. The syste...
